             WELCOME TO THE SOURCE FOR
                ALL THINGS MANGUSTA!

Does anyone know where the remaining 200 of the original 401 Mangustas reside ?

Do you have a 1967-1971 deTomaso Mangusta you wish to sell ?

Give us a hand and help us add to our free online registry by emailing  any information leading to any Mangustas which you own or happen to know of, as well as any for sale ..... This way we can continue to provide enriched content for you to enjoy throughout 2008.

We have heard from owners and enthusiasts located around the globe in countries such as Australia, Belgium, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Greece,  Hawaii,  North America, and South Africa.  We appreciate your interest in the car hobby and in our website.

Thanks to you, our fellow enthusiasts, we have slowly (but surely) increased our free online registry to 58 documented cars.  We now have information on a total of 152 ca
rs, which is more than half of the estimated cars remaining in the world today.  Unfortunately we don't have images of all of these to share with you as of now.

In an effort to catagorize these by Country, we have found that ten cars reside in Australia alone, with eight being Right Hand Drive cars....  The search continues.........

Welcome, Enthusiasts !

Would attendees of the 1966 & 1967 Auto Shows in Turin Italy have thought that the concept Mangusta they were witnessing would be as popular with automotive enthusiasts more than 40 years later as it was then?  Although we didn't make it to those specific shows, one certainly could agree that the execution of the styling of the original car has proven to be timeless in nature and certainly will remain as such for decades to come.

MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to provide the DeTomaso enthusiast with a free-of-charge, single point of contact for Mangusta history, technical tips, how-to articles, upgrades, modifications, parts sourcing and a definitive owner-driven electronic vehicle
registry.

WHY THIS WEBSITE?

We realize that so many quality websites exsist for the wonderful DeTomaso Pantera, but only a fraction of sites exsist for the low-production Mangusta.  We came to the realization (during the process of maintaining and improving our Mangusta), that available resources seemed scattered and often times unavailable.  So much of our time went into sourcing parts and learning the nature of the car that it seemed a shame to keep all of this valuable information to ourselves.

THE MANGUSTA INTERNATIONAL "WILD GOOSE CHASE" !

Do you currently own or have you previously owned a DeTomaso Mangusta? Do you have a friend with one? Feel free to share with us as many images, personal stories and technical advice as you wish, along with the corresponding vehicle identification number (MA #),  and we will include your vehicle in our "Living" online registry.  We hope to eventually document every remaining Mangusta out of the original 401 hand built vehicles. We feel that this primary site for DeTomaso Mangusta enthusiasts should continue to provide value as long as YOU remain directly involved by providing us with your feedback.  So what are you waiting for...Join in on the "WILD GOOSE CHASE" !

Best Regards,
