The image and details of this car were sent direct to Mangusta International from the current owner. Thanks, Steve ! I have a 1969 Mangusta, 8MA606, which was built in October 1968. This is a Red/Black interior car, which has European instruments (kilometers, degrees C, etc.). and the original leather interior with two piece seats. The dash pad has been renewed in Black leather. I believe I am the third owner, having purchased the car in August 2001 from Bill Todd in N. Calif/Oregon. The first owner was an engineer for Lockheed Missiles and Space Company and the car lived for many years in Sunnyvale, CA. The body appears to be very original, except that it has BBS 3 piece wheels instead of the original DeTomaso wheels. The car has the following mods: Hall headers and big bore mufflers, centerforce clutch/pressure plate, large motor/transaxle skid plate, Hall shocks/springs.The car is in Carson City, Nevada. I think the original mileage is about 44,000 (65,000 kms on the odometer), but I will have to check this to be certain. Thanks for hosting such an informative site. Steve B.
